I’m Ammara Ansari — a strategist, fundraiser, and facilitator who helps mission-driven people and organizations turn bold ideas into measurable impact.
With nearly a decade of experience leading development strategy, equity-centered learning, and organizational transformation, I’ve helped raised millions of dollars, built systems that make growth sustainable, and guided teams through moments of change with both clarity and care.
My work lives at the intersection of equity, strategy, and storytelling. I help organizations and campaigns design fundraising systems that inspire investment, not exhaustion — and learning frameworks that transform data into direction. Whether supporting leadership teams through strategic planning, facilitating reflection sessions, or reimagining donor engagement, I bring both analytical precision and deep emotional intelligence to every project.

I’ve worked across the nonprofit, philanthropic, academic, and political sectors — leading multi-million-dollar fundraising portfolios, facilitating racial equity learning programs, and advising on governance and organizational development. My practice is grounded in the belief that strategy should feel human, and equity should be actionable.
I hold a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan’s Ford School and a B.A. in Politics from the University of Virginia. Beyond my consulting work, I serve in local elected office, where I bring community-centered leadership to public decision-making and governance.
